Description

Kombi Hostel is the perfect place for travelers looking to explore and have fun in Santiago. We are situated in the heart of Bellavista, just one block away from the main street of Pio Nono. Funky bars, tasty restaurants, and Cerro Concepcion are all within a short walking distance.

At Kombi, we've designed our hostel with the traveler in mind. With tons of communal areas, a pool on our huge rooftop terrace, several outdoor patios, and a great bar, it's easy to meet fellow travelers. Social activities are the norm, with events like Chilean asados (BBQs), outings to futbol games, game nights, and live music at our bar. Our reception is open 24 hours so feel free to stay out as late as you please.

Our guests enjoy free wifi, use of our kitchen, and bedding/sheets. All bathrooms have hot water and showers with strong water pressure. Laundry services are available for a fee.

Directions

From the airport:
1) You can catch a taxi from the airport to the hostel for approximately Ch $15.000.

2) Transvip minibuses will drop you off at KombiHostel for Ch $6.200. Look for the Transvip booths outside of the baggage claim. Tell them you are going to Ernesto Pinto Lagarrigue 160 in Recoleta. Minibuses leave as soon as they fill up. Services are 24 hours.

3) Combination of bus and Metro
The Metro is open between 6:00 to 23:00, this information is very important because you must be in the station within operating hours. Make sure to give yourself a hour to come from the airport.

For both alternatives, you must go to Metro station Los Héroes. From there, take the Metro towards the direction of Los Dominicos (Line 1, red). Take the Metro until you reach Baquedano station (5 stations away from Los Héroes). When you arrive, walk outside of the station and toward Cerro San Cristóbal. You will have to cross the Mapocho River over the bridge and continue walking straight 2 blocks on Pío Nono until you reach the corner of Pío Nono and Dardignac. Then, take a left onto Dardignac and one block to Ernesto Pinto Lagarrigue street which is our street. Here, take a right and walk a half block on Ernesto Pinto Lagarrigue. We're on the left at # 160.

By bus:

Depending on where you are coming from, the bus will drop you off at different bus terminals. All are located on the red line (Line 1) of the Metro. Take the Metro in the direction of Los Dominicos until you reach Baquendano station. When you arrive, walk outside of the station and toward Cerro San Cristóbal.
